Amazon did not release an advance screener to journalists and reviewers as is typically done to promote a film, and all scheduled Thursday screenings in theaters were cancelled. Ticket sales had been anemic and were getting mocked on social media and by late-night talk show hosts.

So much for the hype, can't even sustain a mega release.

Back in the day, when a movie flops, they used to the DVD and Blockbuster route. Now they go to Amazon Prime.

The anti MAGA sentiment is riding high especially with Noem's actions in Minneapolis, most of Americans are hating Trump and what he is doing to the Kennedy Center with TACO as chairman, rebranding the center and the building, etc. Is this when you want to do a glitzy release of a grift film about a person that very few care? She already has her $40Million gift from Bezos in the bank and besides no one really cares what she does anymore. The movie is not just bombing from the wide release, most shows are being cancelled because the theaters cannot sell tickets.

Just incredible stupidity.
