Saw a tribute from Weird Al earlier today. Rick was a friend and producer of several of Al’s albums. Learned something new.

RIP Rick. Awesome guitarist and and even more an amazing musician. The list of people he played with, wrote, produced or collaborated with is extensive.

I saw him in concert, opening for Johnny Winter at The Bacchanal in San Diego, 1986.
