Texas is trying an unusual phuck the vote tactic per orders from Trump. Trump and his minions are afraid that the upcoming mid-terms will have the Democrats taking control of the House of Representatives. So, they want to cheat.

Redistricting occurs after every census, taken at 10 year intervals. We are still five years out from the next census.
