A.I. Age

There is a Stone Bronze Iron and now is seems the A.I. Age for humans.

What to expect ahead for everyone? For I fear it has been set into motion and there is no stopping it now.

With no controls and safeguards, regulations by everyone I fear this may well be a age that stops the human advancement and freedoms. Seeing there will be little in the way of regulating it's advancing controlling nature. Subtle increments advancing in a ever increasing way. So easy to get use to the segments of our life's it is taking over. Happy even at times.

Some humans foolishly thinking they are smarter. Others lazy happy to allow A.I. to step in and take over. Replacing duties performed by humans to make money never considering A.I. will never buy products like humans.

Not a Luddite here, like technologies. Believe unless serious thought and safeguards are agreed upon very soon. By the time it becomes apparent to most it will be to late to go back.

People will have forgotten or unable to without the Big Brother A.I. permission.

Relationships, customs, and habits are the stuff of human activity. Once they go away, they never come back. Replacements can take years to evolve. If they do.

Is AI going to disrupt and destroy what people do? Will it further suppress the reestablishment of activity structures as now exist?

Things always change. They just change a lot faster, like a hyperbolic curve, since roughly the early 19th century. The increase of the speed of change started becoming a lot more noticeable back then. Now it's practically a vertical line and, IMO, will end everything (as we know it, at least) in the not too distant future.

The bible even talks of this.

In my life time with Grandparents who were alive at the birth of auto's airplanes living to see man in space and on the moon. With any new technology there will be growing pains and issues.

A.I. is a tool that could be used for good or bad. There are two basic types of tools. One will make you smarted the other dumber. I'm afraid A.I. will be the latter.
A tool like a pencil hammer compass ..... all improving you comprehension and problem solving.

Where tools like GPS navigation can be helpful but should never be used exclusively. The use of cell phones and remembering phone numbers and appointments. Most would be lost if without or just the thought of loosing the phone. The feeling one gets when thinking they forgot their phone....
Looking at groups of people in public swiping their phones instead of talking.

A.I. has the potential to make humans lazy and reliant on it. Forgetting to do for themselves. Much like today the large portion of humans in the advanced countries would be in a drastic predicament if having to get safe water to drink or food to eat. What plants were safe or how to skin a animal.

With the race to be on top and with their eyes on profits. I feel safety and security will not be worried about. Shortsightedness is an all to common trait when human greed is in control. With A.I. and it's ability to think on it own it will outsmart humans and faster then our reaction time.

There have been multiple test of scenario's with A.I. in control of nukes. Just how they would react to threats.

They do a first strike most of the time.

No hesitations and a massive attack....

It is almost like they care little about human life.
